I’m a full-time mother, blessed with twins and an awesome husband who lets me stay home to raise them, and I keep a few farm animals - just like you!
Several years ago, I decided that I would like to have a goat for its milk. My husband bought our first milk goat in 2004 and now my animals provide our family with milk, cheese (and other milk products), eggs, and fiber. We
even raise and process some of our own meat each year.
I know what it is like to have a few “non-typical” animals for production and for pets and how much love and work goes into raising, caring for and handling them. Even just a couple of days away from home on a business trip, family gathering, or weekend camping trip cannot be accomplished worry-free without lots of care and planning, because finding help to care for your beloved horses, goats, sheep, cows, and poultry is not as simple as having a neighbor slip over to take the dog for a walk or feed and water the kitty. If you have milking that needs to be done, eggs to gather, or lambs, fouls, kids or calves due to be born... any time away at all is nearly impossible!
THAT is how my little business came to be. Now you can go camping for the weekend or take a real vacation and KNOW that your precious animals will be given the same loving care that I give to my own! Your dairy animals will be milked for you. Your garden and lawn will not lack for water and weeding, or your flower beds will still be blooming when you return home.
I can help out with disbudding, hoof-trimming, and banding. I can even help you process your poultry and other small game for meat! My rates are very affordable, you can depend on me, and I am honest. I am available most holidays, so that you can plan YOUR times away when it is easiest to be off work.
